Essa Kaldari: Visit Promotes Communication and Interaction between Lusail City and the Qatari Engineers
Lusail Real Estate Development Company (LREDC) recently received a delegation from the Qatari Society of Engineers (QSE) headed by Engineer Ahmad Al-Julo, QSE Chairman met by Engineer Essa Mohammad Ali Kaldari, CEO, accompanied by the company senior leadership.
The guests from different Engineering disciplines - were given a tour of the Lusail City Project that started with the safety instructions of the city construction sites. Then Architect Abdulrahman Al-Ishaq presented a detailed explanation about Lusail City and answered QSE questions in the presence of Eng. Essa Kaldari.
The guests were taken on a field visit to the utilities in the Marina area where the Project Director reviewed the most important implementation stages and major challenges that faced the team and how they overcame the issues to meet deadlines. After that, the delegation moved to Lusail City Marina and learnt about the construction progress. The group then headed to inspect one of the car park sites built underground, which have a capacity of 550 cars. Guests subsequently visited Fox Hill residential and commercial area where they were briefed on the infrastructure and the completed road works. The project visit concluded at the electrical transformers plant, implemented at a depth of three floors underground, and which produces the 66Kv required to feed Lusail City with the necessary electrical power.
Commenting on the visit, Eng Essa Mohammad Ali Kaldari, LREDC CEO said: "This visit is a wonderful opportunity, one we have been seeking for a long time. The city is open to the public and QSE is the most deserving of this visit because we share this development with them. Furthermore, it promotes communication and interaction between QSE expertise, the modern and top-notch infrastructure and technology used in Lusail City, which maybe the first of its kind in the region."
He added: "It was a great initiative by QSE to invite Engineers from different disciplines and specializations to visit Lusail City to follow-up the latest findings of the technology implemented in the Project."
Additionally, Eng Ahmad Jassem Al-Julo, QSE President expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those in charge of the Lusail City Project, especially Eng. Essa Kaldari for his valuable efforts. He pointed out that the State of Qatar is proud of the huge network as it is a unique design, which adheres to the green buildings standards.
He said: "This is my first visit to Lusail City Project and I see it has been very beneficial, especially for the young engineers who accompanied me. I am very pleased with the high-end technological levels adopted here and I hope this approach will last until the end of the project."
Al-Julo added: "QSE will now seek to organize many more visits to Lusail City with the engineering students and graduates from different disciplines and specializations, in addition to consecutive visits to follow-up on important and major projects such as Lusail City."
