Lufthansa, the largest European airline group, is set to operate from Doha's new airport, Hamad International Airport. The first Lufthansa flights from Germany will arrive at the new airport from Thursday 22 May with flight LH 620 from Frankfurt to Qatar's capital. The first Lufthansa flight to depart from Hamad International Airport will be on the following day, as flight LH 621 leaves Doha for Frankfurt on 23 May at 01:30. Passengers of LH 621 are advised to check in on 22 May at the new Terminal 1, between Check-in areas 7 and 10.
From 23 May onwards, all Lufthansa flights to and from Doha will route through Hamad International.
