Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality has met recently a delegation from Anjuman -E -Najmi association which represents Dawoodi Bohra community living in Dubai.
The visit comes within the frame work of continuous communication Dubai Municipality is keeping with various sections of the community hoping to better the municipal activities as well as to ensure co-operation for various community based initiatives, his office said.
Eng. Lootah along with Eng. Mohammed Al Noory, Director , Corporate Marketing and Relations Department received the delegation headed by its president, Mr. Kinana Muder Jamaluddeen, at Municipality head quarters in Deira.
During the meeting Lootah praised the services the community is rendering in Dubai with specially mentioning its contribution in business and cultural activities.
He added more saying: " Dubai Municipality is keen on expanding its reach out various kind of strata of the society. We need to better our services and to make our community based initiatives more wide spread"
Mr. Kinana later said the visit was to discuss on various fields of co-operation to carry out community based voluntary works organized by the association.
He said his association has started initiatives to clean up several residential area as well as commercial ones with the co operation with Dubai Municipality.
He also said the visit will boost up the activities which are already on and will help expand in to more areas and with increased volume.
