Logica, a leading IT and business services provider, today announced that it will implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for Finland's leading infrastructure and construction services company, Destia Ltd. The new Microsoft based system will enable Destia, to grow and expand in international markets. Logica will also provide customer support, maintenance services and further system development.

Destia's new ERP system will enable the company to manage information centrally, harmonise business processes and support its global growth strategy.

"If we are to fulfil our aim of becoming a major player in the Nordic region, our ERP system needs to be flexible to our business requirements and should support the quick reactions we make to changes in the marketplace. In addition, we were looking for a system that has high usability with further development potential", says CIO Timo Krigsman of Destia.

The project covers the renewal of Destia's financial management system and the creation of a new procurement system to enable an efficient and consistent supply process. The company's CRM system, will also be revamped to better manage the growing customer-driven business. Destia's new ERP system is based on the Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM software solutions.
