Geneva, 31 July 2012 - The Private Banking arm of Lloyds Banking Group has secured Anthony Valgimigli to head its high net worth business in the Middle East. Based in Geneva, Anthony will lead the teams in Switzerland and Dubai. He will report to Martin Fricker, High Net Worth Director, and will focus on increasing Lloyds TSB Private Banking activity and profile in the Middle East.
Anthony joins after nearly 29 years at Barclays, which included 10 years in corporate finance and large corporate insolvency before joining the Bank's Middle East private banking business 19 years ago. As well as covering client families across the region, he has also led teams in London, Geneva and Monaco, helping to build significant client bases in the Middle East. In 2008, he was based in Qatar, where he returned in 2011 to head the Private Wealth business there.
