After the resounding success of LG's Iftar for members of the media in Dammam last week, and the great memories the LG family and its guests kept from last year's Iftar in Jeddah, LG Electronics organized yet another of its traditional Iftars for its media club and partners at Jeddah's Al Shallal on Thursday, September 27th 2007.

The LG media members, their families and LG partners (H G Ibrahim Shaker Co., United Yousef M. Naghi Co., Al Jassim Electronics, Axiom Telecom, and Batterjee Security Systems Co) spent a memorable evening at Al Shallal Theme Park in Jeddah.  After the Iftar, families spent nice times playing with various games at the only Theme Park in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In this occasion, Mr. Simon Lee, General Manager of LG in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

"On behalf of LG Electronics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I would like to congratulate you for the holy month of Ramadan this year," he said. "May this month bring joy, peace and prosperity to you, your families and this beloved country."

He also thanked the members of the media and LG Electronics partners whose support helped raise LG Electronics image in the Kingdom and maximize its achievements.

"(The media) were the ones who elevated the image of LG Electronics and mirrored its international reputation to the Saudi market," said Mr. Lee. "It is their great support that has allowed the company to achieve great results in terms of sales and brand image building."

Following the Iftar, some of the LG media club members were honored for their excellent performance this year and received honorary awards from Mr. Lee.

After the distribution of the honorary awards, a raffle draw was held, and the winning numbers walked away with a number of valuable prizes of various LG products.
