Site revamp aims to provide consumers with great accessibility

Dubai, UAE, 3 September 2009 - LG Electronics (LG), a leader in consumer electronics and mobile communications, today unveiled the upgrade of its Gulf website, further strengthening its commitment to providing customers with a dynamic online experience.  Using state-of-the-art flash animation and a variety of digital tools, the new site, www.lge.com/ae, allows users to actively engage with the LG brand product portfolio and share information.

Further additions to the website include an enhanced faceted search and collaboration tools, integrated service and support services as well as a variety of multi-media functions - all adding to the overall customer experience and providing users with an interactive platform to engage and share information. The site also includes a micro-site designed specifically for LG Healthy Living Collection, helping educated consumers on the benefits of adopting technology that facilitates improved health.

With former domain portal http://ae.lge.com no longer functional, customers are encouraged to visit www.lge.com/ae  for further information on LG in the Gulf. Visitors to the site will also be able to enter a series of competitions to win great prizes, in addition to taking part in regular quizzes. 

www.lge.com/ae conforms to LG global brand guidelines, ensuring that all internet users, around the world, are able to maximise their online LG experience.
