For the first time in Dubai

Dubai, 18 September 2006:- KTV Middle East, a leading manufacturer of hi-tech products particularly LCD TV sets and CCTV monitors, last evening held a grand reception at the Stars Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel to mark the launch of its enterprises in Dubai.

At the outset of the function, KTV disclosed that it had embarked on manufacturing of 42-inch multi TV screens with a 2 cm frame. It is the first time that such screens are being produced at a global level in Dubai. The company also announced that it has now started production of LCD TV sets from its factory in Jebel Ali for the first time in the region.

In a welcoming address, Mr. Saad Omar, General Manager, KTV, said his company has firmly established a name in manufacturing and marketing global markets.

"We place special emphasis on craftsmanship and commitment towards our customers through forging permanent and strong partnerships. Our company is especially interested in manufacturing and marketing a wide range of advanced and reliable technological products at reasonable prices and rendering quality services to its clients," noted Mr. Omar.

He added that the company had mapped out a significant strategy that "applies a direct marketing approach in a bid to grab a share in GCC markets. In this connection, we are particularly dependent on Saudi Arabia's Bin Ladin Group."

He said in its manufacturing processes, KTV Middle uses best-in-class raw materials.

"Therefore, the company offers a good pricing margin to vendors, best selling prices to end users clients and quality services to clients. We further act as strong marketers, thanks to the promotional plan for our products. The best of products are instantly placed on shelves for selling. Resilient as it is, KTV also manufactures custom-built products."

Mr. Omar is confident that his company will secure a big share in the regional markets by virtue of its state-of-the-art products, competitive prices and quality services.

The Sales Manager Mr. Khaled Aswadi then briefed the guests on the visual system applied in the newly manufactured sets. Mr. Yong Chou from Inter- M present Audio System, Mr. Kevin Shin General Manager of S- Net systems present Smart Home and Mr.henri Choi BSE director made demonstrations on the Multi Screens.

A host of representatives of the economic sector and media attended the function.

KTV was set up in 1969 under the name "Toshiba Korea Co. Ltd." In 1974, it was renamed Korea Electronics Co. Ltd. In 1987, the LCD TV production line was launched. In 2003, the company ushered in a new era of knowledge-based technology and hence acquired the name KTV Global Corporation. It then established premises in the Middle East, which later has engaged itself in joint ventures with several companies including KTV International, Bin Ladin Group of Saudi Arabia and Abdullah Baroum and Sons Group.

KTV is targeting markets in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. It has opened many offices around the world and has set up industries and selling points in UAE, Korea and Philippines. It has also had selling points in Saudi Arabia, USA, UK, Germany and Japan.

KTV has strategic partners in the Financial Group (Samba), American Express (AMEX), National Commercial Bank (NCB), Saudi Digital Distribution Co. (ART), TLC and Bin Ladin Group. It also has many clients such as the Saudi Arabia-based Kingdom Centre, Osool Satellite Channel, Show Time, Patchi, Al Ghazali, DMS and BTC.
