Dubai, June 28, 2010: A senior management delegation from South Korean company LG visited Electronic Documents Centre (EDC), a subsidiary of Emirates Post Group, to discuss mutual business opportunities and study EDC's expertise in mail fulfillment and card personalization services to corporate clients.
The delegation consisted of Mr. Jongwha LEE, Vice President, SOC Division, Mr. Oh Kido, Business Development Advisor and Mr. Chung, Byang Hoon, Business Development Manager - International Business.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Abdulla Al Hammadi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of EDC, Mr. Abdul Qadir, member of the Board Member and Mr. Obaid Al Qatami, Acting Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The two sides explored potential areas of cooperation and discussed possibility of forming joint ventures in the Gulf and Middle East.
The visiting delegation toured the EDC premises and was briefed on the card personalization division and the high-security setup equipped with sophisticated machines. They also visited the mail fulfillment section which handles the printing and mailing of invoices of several leading banks, loyalty companies and financial institutions.
EDC, set up in 2002, handles multiple printing and mailing requirements of large companies. EDC has been developed as a hi-tech one-stop shop that automates the entire chain from printing to enveloping to mailing, in a secure environment, enabling its clients to devote themselves to their core business.
