Dr. Ahmad Badr, Chief Executive Officer and a Founding Member of Knowledge Group commented: “Knowledge never stands still, and this is where our belief stems from, to consistently provide training and development to our peers, while constantly looking to reinvent ourselves in the different ways we operate, and ask ourselves the question: how can we better serve individuals, grow economies, and quickly adapt to global threats and changes through technology? Digital revolution has the potential to reshape markets faster than perhaps any force in history. At a time of relentless change globally and unstoppable transformation, we must continue to seek new talent, and tap the skills, creativity, and passion of employees. Knowledge Group aims to rapidly grow the sustainable provision of knowledge and skills for individuals, businesses, and governments, provide key insights on economic development and drive digital business transformation.”

“During our second virtual Knowledge Day, our speakers highlighted the impact of the new talent economy in the digital age and how a successful business will be pulled toward a digital approach in which business models, offerings, and value chains are digitized, driving new revenue streams and substantive business outcomes.”

Dr. May Laith AlTaee, Acting Dean at Abu Dhabi School of Government, commented: “It is becoming evident that the world's tremendous changes are reflected in jobs and businesses' future at an accelerated pace. The efficiency at work has also changed in conjunction with the increase in competition and the changing landscape in many jobs and roles, due to the rapid advancement of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.  The concept of a "Digital Ready Employee" equipped with digital age skills has become a key to preparing for the future, particularly skills that lead to innovation, creativity, leadership, continuous learning, knowledge transfer, and exchange of experiences. Therefore, we at the Abu Dhabi School of Government prioritize enhancing Abu Dhabi government employees' digital readiness. It is an essential part of our mission to achieve our goals and help individuals face any challenges, and find solutions derived from their digital skills and competencies”.

Dr. AlTaee added: “To achieve our goals, we allocated many programs, trainings, and initiatives to build digital skills that pave the way for new talents and enable knowledge development. “Abu Dhabi Digital Program” aims to provide Abu Dhabi government employees with digital skills that will contribute to enhancing the digital transformation of the Abu Dhabi government, while the “Digital Learning for All” initiative and “Digital Learning Challenge” both provided a prominent opportunity to contribute to Abu Dhabi's ongoing digital transformation journey”.
