Hospital Build & Infrastructure Awards 2014 recognise Middle East healthcare pioneers

Dubai, UAE: The winners of the Hospital Build & Infrastructure Awards 2014 were announced this morning at the 6th Hospital Build & Infrastructure Middle East Exhibition & Congress. The annual Awards recognise leaders in the healthcare industry who have devoted their efforts to building hospitals that help improve healthcare services in the Middle East and raise the bar in providing world-class patient care. King Fahad Medical City in Saudi Arabia won the Best Technology Initiative Award.

The Hospital Build & Infrastructure Middle East Exhibition & Congress commenced today (2 June) at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, and will continue on the 3-4 June 2014.

As well as the King Fahad Medical City, the other winners for 2014 included HMC Skilled Nursing Facility, Qatar for Best Hospital Design Award; Al Amal Hospital, UAE for Best Hospital of the Future Award; HMC PET CT Center for Diagnosis & Research, Qatar for Best Physical Environment Award; Ruwais Hospital (ADNOC), UAE for Best Sustainable Hospital Project Award; HMC Skilled Nursing Facility, Qatar for Best Healing Environment Award; and Burjeel Hospital, UAE for Best Laboratory Design Award; and Clemenceau Medical Centre, Lebanon for Best Facilities Management Service Strategy Award.
