team grows further with new retail mall manager
Abu Dhabi, UAE – 28 October, 2009- Khidmah LLC, Abu Dhabi’s first Emirati-owned and -operated services management company, today welcomed Majd Mashfej into its continuously growing team as new Retail Mall Manager. The new addition follows several new appointments within Khidmah’s different departments recently.
Majd Mashfej joins Khidmah with vast experience in the retail management field and a strong background in associated areas such as marketing, operations, leasing, training, customer service, public relations and project management. Mr. Mashfej has over ten years’ experience in many shopping malls and department stores across the region, including Marks and Spencer in Saudi Arabia. He has successfully completed several professional development courses on retail management in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Prior to joining Khidmah, Mr. Mashfej was in charge of City Center Doha, one of the biggest malls comprising 370 single stores, a big food court and international brands and offering a wide range of services. The total mall surface accounts to 300,000 square meters. Mr. Mashfej also occupied similar roles in other regions including Saudi Arabia. He headed different divisions of retail management including marketing, leasing, operation and customer service. Mr. Mashfej holds an MBA from Ambassador in the Commonwealth of Dominica and a BA from Damascus University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the German Business Council in Qatar.
In his new position, Mr. Mashfej will be responsible for leading all retail and mall management for Khidmah.
