Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain - 15 October, 2008: Khaleeji Commercial Bank announced today that its new ATM at Seef Mall is now operational. The new ATM, which is installed at Seef includes a state-of-the-art security feature such as an Intelligent Fraud Detector (IFD) which provides protection against any attempt to fiddle with the machine or access any customer information through the use of wireless video cameras.
Mr. Ebrahim H. Ebrahim, CEO and Board Member of the Bank, commented, "We at Khaleeji Commercial Bank always strive to introduce new services to our customers which will enhance their banking experience with us. Aside from the basic services that our ATMs provide, we will soon be introducing Online Cash Deposits function through our new ATM at Seef Mall which means that customers will get the cash deposits credited to their account in real time instead of waiting until the next day."
The current services provided by KHCB's ATM include cash withdrawal, online cash deposit, cheque deposit and fund transfer. The services also include requesting detailed account statements, applying for checkbooks, and changing the personal Identification number (PIN) of the ATM card.
With the Bank recent move to the Bahrain Financial Harbour and the introduction of both its e-banking services and the new ATM machine at Seef Mall, KHCB is set to increase its customer base in Bahrain and provide the facilities and services required to match their customer's expectations. The Bank is focusing on selecting strategic locations which are in line with Bank's customers' profile.
