The Tyres & Batteries Department of Juma Al Majid Establishment recently held a Test Drive and Launch function for its GEOLANDAR series of Yokohama tyres at Expo Centre, Sharjah. Present on the occasion were Mr.Morita, General Manager, Mr.Hanatate, General Manager, Mr.Ghulam Nabi, Department Manager, Mr.Longie, Dy GM, Mr.Yoshimura, GM, Mr.Miyamoto, GM, Mr.Yagita, Manager Engineering and other senior officials. Juma Al Majid Establishment & Yokohama join hands to celebrate a long running partnership and to extend sincere gratitude to all the customers who made this possible. Year 2006 was indeed a vibrant year for Yokohama in establishing itself as a deep-rooted player in the High Performance tyre (HPT) segment. All thanks to world renowned technology of Yokohama and the electrifying field force of Juma Al Majid Establishment's Tyres & Batteries Division.
Yokohama HPT flagship series, the Advan - Sport & Decibel, again have shown their mettle in exhibiting high speed performance and reducing noise levels. Whilst cruising ahead with these premium Tyres, Yokohoma is also gearing up to launch a new "drive" range HPT Pattern called "S.Drive". The countdown has started and the sales team of Juma Al Majid Est. is eagerly & positively looking forward for the launch. With the year 2006 so far having yielded strong results, Juma Al Majid Est. & Yokohama foresees a bright & extremely prospective 2007 with the prime focus of quality service & customer satisfaction.

Sales of the previous years were boosted by the launch of 2 new tyre patterns - A300 and C.drive. The Yokohama A300 and C.drive series patterns have been introduced in the comfort category for saloon and sedan car segments. The product characteristics were developed after intensive market study, customer feedback and research. The tyres have been developed to provide a supremely comfortable ride and as per technical specifications, it boasts excellent NVH performance (a low noise, vibration and harshness performance). In addition to good NVH performance, Stability and Durability are the other qualities of the Aspec A300 and C.drive model patterns. With saloon cars getting bigger and faster, the driver demands more from car tyres and these new patterns are capable of meeting and even exceeding the most demanding drivers' expectations. The new launch of S.drive (sporty drive) will give customer a world range of sizes for customers who are keen on inching-up. With this introduction the "drive" series expands with C.drive and S. Drive Category for different customer needs.
