Amman, Jordan - As part of its ongoing aims to present its visitors with premium quality services coupled with a comfortable and enjoyable environment for shopping, the Jordanian Duty Free Corporation launched its 2007 Summer Campaign this July with a grand prize offered each month worth US$ 10,000. This month the company held its third raffle draw on Sunday, October 7th 2007 at the Amman Duty Free Shops located between the 4th and the 5th circle area in Amman. Mr. Ayyoub Khaled Suleiman from Syria, Ms. Layla Keldani from Jordan. And Mr. Salah Abd ElAziz AlHorani from Jordan were announced as the event's lucky winners for the month of September.
During the campaign, JDF will be offering shoppers 1 ticket for each US$ 50 or equivalent they spend at any of its outlets. These tickets will be entered into a monthly raffle draw, held at a different JDF outlet each month.
The raffle draw was held in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, members of the JDF team and representatives of the media. Mr. Suleiman, winning first prize received US$ 10,000 in cash, while the second place winner Ms. Keldani received a Flatron TV set, and Mr. AlHorani who won the 3rd grand prize won a fully integrated Stereo Hi Fi System.
Commenting on the raffle draw Mr. Omar Hawamdeh, Sales and Marketing Director of the Jordanian Duty Free Corporation said, "First and foremost I would like to congratulate our 3rd raffle draw winners, as we at the Jordanian Duty Free Shops Corporation are proud to see the high level of participation that this campaign reaped over the last 3 months. This campaign complies with our aims to provide for our Jordanian and foreign travelers a unique shopping experience especially with Eid Al Fitr holiday coming up. To us, this occasion represents a time for people to seek gifts for friends, families and loved ones and our aim is to present all of the JDF outlets as the shopping points of choice for people seeking out the perfect gift."
Aligned with JDF's ongoing aims to represent Jordan in the best light and to provide convenience to all its shoppers, the company also recently announced that it is holding a 25% discount on select items on sale at its outlets during the months of October, November and December
Commenting further on JDF's recognition for festive seasons, Mr. Haitham AL Majali General Manager of the Jordanian Duty Free Corporation said, "We at JDF launched these discounts in celebration of the many festive seasons coming up including the Eid Al Fitr Holiday, Christmas and New Year amongst others. The iftar event was held on the 25th of September at our Jabber outlet and during its proceedings we were proud to give a tour to all our guests of the recently renovated outlet. The summer campaign was launched as part of the firm's strategy to commend and reward its clients' loyalty, and to ensure that its services continually surpass the norm.
JDF's grand prize winners for the raffle draws of August and September, Mr. Yousif Hussein Yousif Abu A Ola from Jordan and Mr. Ghazi Nimran Ali Al-Awaysheh from Jordan respectively both received their JD 10,000 checks from the JDF headquarters in Amman shortly after the draws took place. It is also worth mentioning that that the second prize winner from last month's raffle draw Mr. Abd AL Sallam Al Hujairi donated his award to the Al Hussain Orphan center. His generous donation was received by Ms. Pakinas Mohammad Al Lebnawi.from the center.
