Kuwait,  March 24, 2009: Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, will launch daily, direct services to from Kuwait to Mumbai, effective March 29, 2009.

Jet Airways will operate the new flight aboard a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The inaugural flight 9W 572 will depart Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport  at 1900 hrs, arriving at Kuwait International Airport at 2030 hrs.  Flight 9W 571 will then depart Kuwait at 2130 hrs and arrive in Mumbai at 0400 hrs.

Mr. Abdulrahman Al Busaidy, Group Executive Officer, Jet Airways stated," Jet Airways' new flight from Kuwait to Bombay is designed to provide convenient timings to our valued customers, not just between Kuwait and Mumbai but also for onward connections to key cities in India such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Chennai, Pune, and Calicut, in both directions."

The services on the Kuwait - Mumbai - Kuwait route are in addition to the already established Kuwait - Kochi - Kuwait route, where flight timings have been fine tuned to suit business travelers.  The airline's customers can now depart from Kuwait onboard 9W 573 at 0140 and arrive into Kochi at 0915 hrs.

Similarly, on the return, customers depart Kochi onboard 9W574 at 2210 and arrive into Kuwait at 0040 hrs to make it back in time for the working day.

Jet Airways' flights connect  important  Indian gateway points to  Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the Gulf region.
