ITS, a leading supplier of oilfield products and services to the global offshore oil and gas industry, is stepping up investment in its fast growing pressure control division.
The division was established in Aberdeen, Scotland in late 2006, with new facilities being added to the area the following year. The success of the division over the past two years has seen ITS continue to develop its reputation for providing quality pressure control packages and solutions. The division serves customers from a number of regions including the North Sea, Europe, Middle East and Caspian region.
The department, supported by expertise across the ITS Group, provides pressure testing, servicing, DNV/ABS/BV certification and pre-job assembly for the global oil and gas industry. The six-man team, headed up by Derek Rothnie, has a proven track record for working with BOP's and pressure control equipment.
Derek Rothnie, pressure control manager of ITS, said: "I am delighted at the success we've experienced in such a short period of time, during which we have built up a strong reputation in the industry.
"We are now stepping up our investment in new equipment and training throughout the ITS international infrastructure to meet the customer and market demand for this offering. The new equipment will improve our client provision and ensure that we continue to build on our reputation at home and abroad."
