The Information Technology Authority (ITA), in cooperation with Middle East College, OmanLNG and other private organizations such as Innotech, Engineering for Kids, and Cisco, organize the third edition of the training program (IT Kids Innovation Theater), which will be held in Muscat and Salalah. This program aims at developing kids’ knowledge and abilities in IT, encouraging them to utilize their IT knowledge and imagination to produce creative services and products, and qualifying and empowering them to be IT entrepreneurs in the future.

The program targets kids between 9-12 years old who are familiar with some basic skills in IT such as using computer, running programs and some basic applications. This year, the program focuses on two main areas: Programming and Robotics. The program includes a set of activities such as workshops, project planning, preparation and implementation, and personal skills enhancement. The program is an opportunity for the kids to spend their free time during summer vocation. It also contributes in promoting the kids’ skills in technology and raising their knowledge in IT.

The program will be held in the Middle East College, Muscat, during the period from 29 July to 16 August while it will be held in Salalah in the Public Authority for Civil Aviation during the period from 29 July to 9 August.
