Muscat, July 9, 2008: IT and telecom enthusiasts can have a glimpse of the latest trends in IT and telecom technologies as the country's leading exhibitions company, Oman International Trade and Exhibitions (OITE), the organizer of the successful COMEX series, is all set to stage a ten day long IT, Telecom and Technology Show in the Dhofar region. The event is scheduled to be held from July 30 to August 8 at the Municipality Fair Ground, in Salalah, the country's second largest city, alongside the famous Salalah Tourism Festival.
Previously known as "Khareef Festival" and organized under the patronage of the Dhofar Municipality, the event will open from 5 p.m. until 12 midnight, showcasing a special line of ICT products and services that will increase the level of awareness and sophistication of technological knowledge in the Dhofar region and among Gulf wide visitors.
