AAKAR Developers on schedule to become one of the first developers to deliver project in Business Bay
AAKAR Developers Limited, a leading Canadian real estate and property developer, has announced the completion of shoring and piling works on its AED 200 million Canada Business Centre Tower, a commercial tower centrally located in Dubai Business Bay and due for delivery in December 2008. The completion of the initial foundation works in record time follows the awarding of a contract to the International Foundation Group (IFG) in April earlier this year. AAKAR was one of the first developers to commence construction in the Business Bay and is currently on track to become one of the first to deliver a project in the development.
The completion of the shoring and piling works including the guide wall, contiguous pile wall, temporary shoring, anchors, capping beam, excavation and dewatering works, has been made possible due to the expertise of the IFG team and state-of-the-art equipment in use at the site. IFG appointed a team of industry professionals comprising of site managers, project engineers and supervisors to ensure the completion of the first phase as per the schedule set by Cansult, the design and project management consultants for the project. Further, IFG has also employed the latest technical drilling rigs, cranes, casings, and drilling tools that not only offer excellent performance levels, but also guarantee safety of personnel and equipment during operation.
