Retail City and InRetail making a simultaneous appearance again this year
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 5 March 2007: Creating a brand signature in any retail establishment is an important aspect when defining the company's look and feel to potential customers. With numerous shopping malls under development across the GCC, retailers need to ensure that across all their outlets, their brand signature can be duplicated easily, which can be achieved through working with a minimum of suppliers. Indeed having one supplier that provides a uniform, cohesive look throughout the retail environment is just the versatility a client seeks.
Visitors to InRetail 2007 will be able to meet one such company, Shopkit Designs Ltd. With an almost endless product range, Shopkit clients are able to have all necessary displays and signage elements, with matching fixings and fittings from just one supplier.
Working with cable, rod, glass, metal and wood, Shopkit are able to produce versatile systems with clean lines and sleek finishes for all types of retail and exhibition environments worldwide. The company has been designing and manufacturing components and display systems for the retail industry for over 25 years, building over the years an enviable reputation for sleek design and superb finishes that have led the way within retail display for most of that time. The Davies Group, Dubai, has also successfully represented Shopkit in the Middle East for over 10 years, forming a perfect team, with shared ideals.
As established key designers and manufacturers, Shopkit is used by every sector of the retail industry, from small independents to major department stores such as Harrods in London. Over the years Shopkit have worked with some of the biggest names in retail, including Selfridges, Sunglass Hut and Vodafone and recently they have produced retail display units and showroom environments for car giants BMW, Ferrari and Renault.
Keeping innovation as their cornerstone to success, Shopkit has recently introduced Theme Screen and minimicro, which will be showcased at InRetail. Theme Screen is a new concept for mobile or fixed screening, with a wide range of uses including cafes, shop-in-shop, and many other retail environments.
minimicro was launched with the tagline of 'smaller, cheaper but just as lovely!' Like the economini range, the minimicro is a sleek system, designed for lightweight signage and visual displays and uses 1.5mm stainless steel cable.
Cityscape, organisers of Retail City - the international retail real estate exhibition and conference which joined the organisers of InRetail to create a joint initiative in 2006, will once again be held at the same time at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
Paula Al Chami Organiser for InRetail said, "Following the immense turnout and great reviews generated from the launches of InRetail and Retail City last year, we have come together once again to provide the trade with a comprehensive solution to the various sectors of the retail industry."
Retail City is specifically designed to bring international retail property professionals together to develop new joint ventures, exchange views, identify new investment opportunities and encourage retailers and franchises to set up shop in the Middle East. "We continue to enjoy the collaboration between our two esteemed events and look forward to a shared success," concluded Paula.
