Rolls out the first-ever Internet-based project invoicing and payment solution for the region's booming construction industry
Injazat Data Systems, the region's leading Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, has announced that it has established a strategic partnership with Textura Corporation, a US-based pioneer in online construction payment management, to set up Textura Middle East, a joint venture that will offer to the Middle East's booming construction industry the first-ever Internet-based project payment and invoicing project management solution.
Leveraging Injazat Data Systems' comprehensive IT infrastructure customer base, and Textura's world-class proprietary solutions, the joint venture will help industry players in the Middle East automate the exchange of construction project documents and payments, ensuring secure delivery of vital, real-time information to all project participants via a common database.
Commenting on the new company's significant role in supporting the growth of the industry, Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, CEO of Injazat Data Systems, said: "As more complex and ambitious projects are being undertaken, there is also an increasing need for industry players to focus internal resources and energy on highly demanding core responsibilities. Textura Middle East helps ease the workload on developers and other industry players by taking care of non-core operations through a user-friendly and highly reliable online payment management system."
"Textura dramatically improves all critical areas in construction payment, while offering easy access to all parties involved in the invoicing and payment processes. This partnership with Textura exemplifies Injazat Data Systems' commitment to support the overall development of the UAE and the rest of the region, leveraging our extensive IT resources, network and infrastructure to create new and innovative services that cater to various industry sectors," added Lari.
"The construction sector has directly benefited from the economic boom of the region as numerous developments of various scale and sophistication are now being undertaken all over the Middle East. The enormous growth of the industry has also significantly increased the need for a more secure and uncomplicated payment management solution. We are pleased to seal this partnership with Injazat Data Systems to establish Textura Middle East and address this emerging concern in the region," said Patrick J. Allin, CEO and Chairman, Textura Corporation.
A key feature of Textura Middle East is that it provides an easily accessible single platform for all parties involved in the construction payment process, which include project owners, developers, contractors, consultants, banks, engineers and suppliers.
Textura provides a range of value-added capabilities, which include electronic invoice submittal and approval; automated and accurate calculations of work completed to date, retention and repayment of advance; electronic routing of invoices/PPCs to multiple approvers; email messaging; electronic payment via automated wire transfer; online compliance management integrated with disbursement; highly configurable management and audit reporting; fully developed interfaces to accounting, project management and document management systems; and electronic documents and signatures.
"In view of the increasingly demanding nature of the industry, Textura will be critical in ensuring smooth workflow and increased efficiency. This innovative solution has been designed to deliver increased productivity, improved financial control, reduced risks and project delays, and proactive, real-time reporting and decision-making capabilities," said Allin.
Textura is highly configurable, allowing project participants to customize how each project is managed. It is also easy to operate, requiring only a PC and Internet access, while eliminating the need for cumbersome software and hardware installations. Additionally, Textura utilizes a unique password and ID login system as well as communication and data encryption, ensuring the highest level of security and control.
Textura Middle East has also created a world-class customer support unit, which offers tailored services to clients. Textura Middle East provides each customer a dedicated team of specialists for hands-on support, while a UAE-based call centre facility has been set up for immediate assistance.
