Commenting on the event participation, Amaldeep Pradeep, Standard Electronics Sales of Ingersoll Rand in Middle East & Africa, said: "We intend to make the most of the IFSEC South Africa's knowledge gathering platform by sharing our Total Access Management though innovative technologies and services from aptiQ™, CISA, PegaSys, Schlage, and Von Duprin."

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies team along with two local distributors Uniclox Technologies® and D. Purdue & Sons (Pty) Ltd. will be present at booth #L15 in Hall 2 to showcase the newest electronic access control products:

aptiQ™ is a series of multi-technology readers designed to simplify the transition from older security platforms, such as proximity 125 kHz, to smart technology. This new range has the ability to read a variety of contactless technology platforms and is also Near Field Communication (NFC)-compliant, giving users the possibility to migrate to mobile credentials in the future.

CISA eSIGNO Electronic Contactless Lock and Safe are new offerings to the hospitality market. The CISA eSIGNO lock is NFC-compliant and offers intuitive opening, wireless technology, and online communication that maximizes staff productivity, guest satisfaction and security. The CISA eSIGNO Safe's modern design has a clearly visible display, an ADA-compliant keypad to guide guests, a 90 degree door opening, and an audit trail function that stores events onto an SD card.

PegaSys is an intelligent access control system that provides a cost-effective, flexible solution whether it's for one door or a thousand, at a single location or several, with an online/offline validation and with a new NFC-compliant version.

Schlage Electromagnetic Locks are designed to exceed the standards set by the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) whether it's securing a hospital laboratory, monitoring a controlled area in an airport, or providing traffic control for doors in a commercial or education building.

Schlage Electronic Lock (SEL) 2.0 Series is an electronic anti-burglary lock for high-end residential, hospitality, commercial building and other communities, combining advanced security performances with particular attention to design.

Schlage HandPunch® GT-400 Biometric Time & Attendance Terminal brings the flexibility of a full-function time and attendance terminal together with the sophistication of verification technology. To eliminate employees from punching in for one another, the HandPunch GT-400 uses the size and shape of your employee's hand to verify their identity each time they punch.

Schlage Handnet for Windows allows the user to control and monitor a network of HandKey readers with one comprehensive program. The automatic hand template management feature allows template distribution from an enrollment HandKey to other selected HandKeys thus eliminating the need for a user to be enrolled at every HandReader.

Schlage Power Supplies PS900 Series offers enhanced flexibility and functionality specific to the changing needs of the access control market. The PS900 Series is UL 294 certified and can be outfitted with a variety of distribution options including basic fuse protection, simple relay and advanced logic providing complex sequencing and timing functions.

Von Duprin's Chexit® Delayed Exit Device is designed to delay egress through an opening using panic or fire exit device for 15 seconds. The Chexit is designed to tie into a building's emergency system and release immediately in an alarm condition.
