Meets DIC and Wipro officials to discuss ways to proliferate the Indian Information Technology industry in the country

Dubai - On his recent visit to Wipro's office in Dubai Internet City (DIC), the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, H. E. Chandra Mohan Bhandari, praised Wipro for its initiatives to develop the IT industry in Middle East. The senior Indian official was welcomed by Mr. Mohamed S.M Kahoor, Director of Protocol and Customer Service, Dubai Internet City (DIC) and Mr. Raman Sapra, Regional Manager - Middle East, Wipro at the company's office in DIC. Mr. Bhandari had meetings with the company executives to discuss ways to further proliferate the Indian Information Technology industry in UAE.

Speaking on the occasion H.E Chandra Mohan Bhandari said, "Indian IT companies have proved their success at the global stage and organizations like Wipro has been at the forefront of this. DIC is a well-acclaimed international model for the convergence of local and international IT companies on a common platform. With Wipro's initiatives to spur IT development at a local level and DIC's commitment to further encourage growth in UAE's IT industry, there is an enormous opportunity for the two to benefit from each other's global expertise and pave the path for a strong presence of the Indian Information Technology companies in  the United Arab Emirates."
