20 April 2008 - Middle East - Imation, a world-wide leader in removable data storage media, has introduced the Imation Atom Flash Drive, designed and tailored to fit the capacity, security and performance requirements of today's mobile professionals.
The new Atom Flash Drive comes in a stylish and unique aluminium design, available in capacities ranging from 1GB to 8GB. It is one of the most sophisticated, compact (30,5 x 13 x 5,6 millimetres) and lightweight products to provide file transfer, audio, photos, video, desktop and laptop backup.

The Atom Flash Drive features password and drive partitioning that gives the user control over secure data, as well as the ability to share content with other users. The drives also feature a functional no-cap design and can simply be plugged directly into a USB port without the need for additional USB cables and include a key chain making it simple to attach the drives to key rings, chains, briefcases and duffle bags.
The drives are compatible with Windows Ready Boost allowing them to be used to accelerate system performance, as well as store and transport data.
Like all Imation flash drives, the Imation Atom Flash Drives undergo rigorous testing and qualification procedures to ensure the drives perform well with Windows XP, 2000, and Vista operating systems. The drives are engineered to meet all regulatory testing and withstand extreme environmental conditions, providing users with added assurance that the drive will perform even when exposed to the harshest elements.
