Lucky shoppers win luxury vehicle each during Mall's First Anniversary Celebration!

Dubai, 24 April 2006 - Management at Ibn Battuta Mall, handed over the keys to a brand new Hummer H3 to two lucky shoppers recently. The luxury vehicles are two of four that are being given away throughout the month of April at Ibn Battuta Mall, as part of the Mall's first anniversary celebrations.

For every Dhs.200 spent in any outlet throughout Ibn Battuta Mall throughout the month of April, one raffle ticket can be collected that will allow one entry in to the draw. Each week, a draw will take place and one lucky winner will drive away with a luxury Hummer H3. Other prizes include vouchers to be spent in many of the stores within the Mall.

Mr Hamzah Riyal, a Jordanian living in Dubai, was the first lucky winner of one of the four Hummer H3s. He said: "I can not believe my luck! It is a dream to win such an extravagant prize. I was shopping with a friend who had many raffle tickets. I only entered one raffle ticket and it turned out to be THE ONE! I'd like to thank Ibn Battuta Mall for their generosity."

Maninderpal Singh Chawla, a Dubai resident originally from Bombay, India, was the second lucky shopper to win a brand new white Hummer H3. When he was handed the keys to his new vehicle he said: "This is unbelievable. I am very pleased that I chose to shop at Ibn Battuta Mall this week; a trip out with the family was certainly worth it! It's an amazing prize to win and my family are so excited!"

Ibn Battuta Mall is open Saturday to Tuesday 10am to 10pm and Wednesday to Friday 10am to 12midnight.
