HSBC Bank Middle East Ltd today announced the appointment of Lester Wynne-Jones as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Abu Dhabi and Taroub Hasan as Deputy CEO with immediate effect.
Prior to moving to HSBC Abu Dhabi, Lester Wynne-Jones was Regional Head of Personal Financial Services for HSBC Bank Middle East managing the delivery and ongoing development of a full range of services to HSBC's retail customers across the GCC region. Lester joined HSBC in 1983. During his career he has held a number of positions in project management, corporate banking, customer service and various senior management roles in the United Kingdom and Canada.
Taroub Hasan, a UAE national, joined HSBC in February 2003. Prior to her new appointment, she was responsible for HSBC's branch operations and personal banking services throughout Abu Dhabi, managing a team of more than 150 employees. Taroub has a BSc from Al Ain University and an MBA from the University of Hull.
