Environmental Features Remain Central as HP Rolls out New Printer Portfolio

HP Announced CP4525 and P3015 across Middle East

Dubai, UAE January 07, 2010 - HP Middle East recently has announced an extension to their LaserJet business printing portfolio across Middle East with the addition of two new color printers.

HP has designed their printers with the environment in mind.  Both printers are ENERGY STAR® qualified and use Instant-on technologies to help users further reduce costs and environmental impact.  HP ENERGY STAR qualified LaserJet printers are over 10 percent more energy efficient than non-qualified standard models.[1]  Instant-on Technology provides up to 50 percent energy savings over traditional fusing, while delivering a first page-out in seconds - up to 50 percent faster than competitive products.[2]

"By investing in new IT solutions now, SMBs will be in a stronger position to seize growth opportunities and thrive as the economy rebounds in the region," said Amin Mortazavi, General Manager IPG HP Middle East. "The se new printer series, which is available for purchase in Middle East, offers exceptional print quality and network performance, making it easy for small businesses to affordably market themselves. This latest addition to the HP LaserJet family builds on 25 years of leadership in innovation, quality, performance and dependability, and sets the gold standard in business printing.

To help SMBs easily select the best HP LaserJet printing system for their business, HP announced new sub-branding. Customers can choose from a comprehensive line of HP LaserJet "Professional" printers that provide professional and cost-effective results, while larger organizations can select from the HP LaserJet "Enterprise" portfolio.

Two of the printers also help users protect critical data that is sent and stored on the device thanks to advanced security features such as PIN authentication and the ability for users to connect and house security card swipe devices.

The Extended Portfolio Includes:

  • HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise CP4525 Printer, from the CP4520 printing series, is designed for the performance-oriented customer who wants to share a robust color printer across large workgroups.

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise P3015 Printer, P3015 is a reliable, high-performance, networked device ideal for businesses who work in small teams in IT-managed environments that need to print in high volumes. The printer also includes USB 2.0 walk up printing capabilities.
