Muscat - "Our customers are our top priority," says Jon Wiseman, Honda Oman National Manager, After Sales. "We have an ongoing commitment to giving them the best possible service. With this in mind, we recently offered all owners of Honda outboard motors a free inspection at Marina Bander Al Rowdha and I'm delighted to say that the initiative was a great success. I'd also like to thank the management of the Marina for their fantastic support on the day."

The Honda Team used a special berth provided by Marina Bander Al Rowdha for the inspection of the outboard motors of the owners who had made appointments to take advantage of the offer. "Our Honda trained technicians carried out a thorough specially designed 28 point check on all the motors," says Jagdish Rao, Honda National Service Manager Marine, Power Products & Motorcycles. "We also took the opportunity to give the owners personal advice on their engine's performance."

Rao continues: "Of course, we always have our skilled technicians on stand-by at the Marina but the inspection allowed us to take our service to a new level and demonstrate our commitment to quality customer care. It also gave us the chance to talk to our customers right there with their boats. We value our customers' opinions and we got some excellent feedback that will really help us assess how we're doing and see how we can offer an even better service in the future."

Honda Marine took advantage of the occasion to show off the superb Honda DNA Technology with a display of the latest BF150, BF130, BF75[M1]  and BF40 outboard motors. The Honda team also negotiated a special discount offer on antifoul paints with the Marina Management, exclusively for Honda Outboard Motor owners. "The offer was eagerly taken up given the approaching end of the boating season," comments Rao. "This was a terrific gesture by the Marina and was very much appreciated."

"The day was a great success," says Rao. "I think it highlighted that when someone buys a boat or engine from us it's very much the beginning of a long-term relationship. Of course, Honda offers quality engineering and products but top class customer service is also one of the reasons people choose Honda."
