Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha has appointed Reda Moukthar as General Manager to drive the property forward and to make use of his vast experience in the hospitality field to cement the reputation of the brand's fantastic new property in Dubai.

With Dubai's vibrant hospitality industry facing a challenge with the financial downturn, Reda relishes the opportunity to steer the exciting property to excellence in difficult economic conditions. Having worked in the hotel industry for over 20 years including serving Starwood across the Middle East and in his native country of Egypt, Reda is looking to streamline all areas of the property to reach optimum levels of operation. Reda is aiming to boost RevPAR and occupancy levels at Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha using his proven track record in increasing revenue and reducing expenses, and also to see an increase in GOP by implementing new strategies and financial outlooks.

"With an absolutely brilliant hotel to work with there are endless possibilities at Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha," Reda says.

"With a difficult economic climate to work in we will need to use all the strengths of everyone at the property to really push us in the direction we want to go in. Holiday Inn is the world's most recognised hotel brand and we will capitalise on this.

"Smart financial practices to reduce expenses and increase our RevPAR is going to be key to success and we are looking to implement exceptional sales and marketing tactics to boost occupancy levels," Reda explains. He adds that really knowing their brand and their place in Dubai's market will help them to gain a greater market share, adding to the value of the Holiday Inn brand in the region.

With exceptional training and development skills across many areas including introduction to GDS and IPS as well as team building and guest satisfaction courses, Reda is looking to get the most out of his team at the hotel. Having developed and led multicultural teams in his previous properties Reda will be working with a capable and enthusiastic team from around the world willing to share his vision at Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha and a team that he can pass his expertise on to.  He believes that high employee satisfaction is a key factor in creating a great hotel that guests will return to.

The progress of Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha will be in good hands with Reda Moukthar as he embarks on implementing and developing the Holiday Inn ethos, contributing to the overall vision of the hotel while working hand in hand with all his staff.
