Hilton Egypt and Levant General Managers were awarded for their outstanding performance in 2011
Cairo, Egypt, March 8, 2012: Hilton Worldwide Hotels Egypt and Levant recently hosted their Regional General Managers Meeting at Ramses Hilton in Cairo, where eight General Managers of Hilton Worldwide properties all over Egypt were awarded top honors for their work in 2011.
For the second consecutive year, Haitham Nassar General Manager of Ramses Hilton was named "General Manager of the Year" for Hilton Worldwide Egypt and Levant. Haitham is an experienced hotelier who joined Ramses Hilton with over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry where he held various managerial positions in London, UAE, and Egypt. Second and third place for the same award were presented to Kevin Brett from the Conrad Cairo and Hassan El Wahidi from the Hilton Dahab Resort.
Other awards for Star Performer in Team & Talent were given to Chris Sherman from Hilton Taba Resort, Property Management & Quality to Kamel Ajami from Hilton Hurghada Long Beach, Value & Financial Performance to Osman Khairat from Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza, Commercial & Engagement to Magdy Metwally from Hilton Sharm Dreams and the Star Performer in Communication & Creativity was presented to Christoph Schleissing from Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa. Hilton Worldwide manages eighteen properties all over Egypt.
Over 40 participants from across Egypt and Levant attended a two day event hosted by Christian Grage, Hilton Worldwide VP of Operations in Egypt and Levant.
