Latest signing joins more than 15 Hilton Garden Inn hotels either trading or under development in the Middle East

Doha & McLean, VA - Hilton Worldwide (NYSE:HLT) today announced the signing of a management agreement with Universal Management Group to open the mid-market Hilton Garden Inn Doha C Ring Road.  Set to open in 2018, the hotel is located in Qatar's capital, Doha and once open will join Hilton Garden Inn hotels already operating in the UAE and KSA.

Hilton Garden Inn Doha C Ring Road will feature 138 guest rooms offering signature bedding, a health club and outdoor swimming pool.  Dining options include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby cafe, a bar and 24-hour Pavilion Pantry.  Guests will also have access to a business centre, complimentary Wi-Fi and meeting space.  The hotel will be located on the city's prominent C Ring Road, placing it in a prime location with easy access to business and commercial centres, as well as Hamad International Airport.

With the Qatar tourism industry expected to reach $7.2 billion by 2025, based on forecasts of four million visitors by 2020[1], Doha has built an attractive business and leisure tourism offering, supported by Qatar Airways' global connectivity to 170 destinations worldwide.  Qatar's capital city, Doha, has recently seen a huge investment in its transportation network, with the opening of a new international airport and the development of a new metro rail system.

Hilton Worldwide currently has two hotels operating in Qatar, with a further seven hotels under development, including AlRayyan Hotel Doha, a part of the Curio collection, which is due to open in late 2016.
