Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain - 20 January 2015: Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain's national carrier, recently gave a number of prominent Greek travel agents and tour operators the opportunity to explore Bahrain with a familiarization trip jointly hosted by the airline and The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa. With the aim of promoting Bahrain as both a business and tourism destination the visit included tailored tours of the Kingdom's historical and cultural sites supplemented by key meetings with Bahraini travel agents and trade members and meetings with Gulf Air's executive management team at the airline's headquarters.

Launched in June this year, Gulf Air's direct four weekly flights between Bahrain and Athens operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays departing Bahrain International Airport at 14:00, arriving into the Greek capital at 17:55 while departing Athens International Airport at 18:40 to arrive into Bahrain International Airport at 23:30.
