Airline to get exclusive credit card for its senior staff

Manama, Bahrain - Gulf Air and CrediMax have come together to launch a novel "Corporate Card" exclusively designed for Gulf Air senior staff for official transactions.

In a brief ceremony held at Gulf Air Headquarters in Muharraq yesterday (01 October 07), Gulf Air Executive Vice President Finance and Administration Mr. Ismail Karimi and CrediMax Acting Chief Executive Mr. Mohammed Malik signed an agreement to this effect.

"We are glad to tie up with CrediMax to provide exclusive "Corporate Card" for our senior staff, who perform duty-related travel very often, meet with trade partners and customers and, carry out various other company-related businesses," says Mr. Karimi.

"The card will greatly reduce our paper-work and time in terms of preparing manual vouchers for travel advance, settlement claims, etc, thereby improving our operational efficiency."

The Corporate Card can be used by Gulf Air senior staff members for all official transactions, which will be settled by the company directly with CrediMax.

"CrediMax is proud to associate with Gulf Air the nation's flag carrier and one of the largest employers of the Kingdom," says Mr. Mohammed Malik. "The agreement is an auspices beginning of a long-term corporate relationship between Gulf Air and CrediMax."
