Dubai -- Branding and design consultancy gsFitch has appointed Breathe Branding's former Strategy Director Dan Dimmock to its executive management team as Senior Brand Strategist.

He will be responsible for leading the consultancy's offering on all aspects of client brand strategy, as well as helping to drive overall business strategy for the WPP consultancy.

Dimmock joins gsFitch with over a decade's experience gained in working alongside a number of the world's most recognised branding agencies. To date, his contributions have covered a full spectrum of brand development and rebranding from strategic positioning through to implementation -- for such clients as Action for Children, Citibank, FremantleMedia, Havas Media, PepsiCo. International, Reebok, Smith and Nephew and Wyeth

Having worked extensively throughout Europe, Scandinavia, the Americas and the Middle East, Dan began his career in brand implementation management with Harkess Ord, at their worldwide headquarters in London -- later working alongside Wolff Olins in New York, supporting the roll-out of a new corporate identity for the global pharmaceuticals giant, Smith and Nephew.

Most recently, and as a result of the American University in Dubai's continued effort to establish partnerships with the region's wider creative community, Dimmock was invited to support the Visual Communication's faculty as a guest juror and lecturer - providing guidance and insight to both students and staff.

Dimmock said: "This is an incredibly exciting role for me and I am particularly looking forward to working with the team to build on the success they have already achieved, as well as a very impressive list of clients."
