The management and staff of Grand Hyatt Amman proudly congratulates its colleagues in L'Incontro, a chic Milanese restaurant, for winning the most outstanding Italian cuisine in Jordan and Lebanon in the "Grumpy Gourmet Award" ceremony for the second time around. There were very few Italian restaurants that was picked and nominated as it is one of the renowned awards that evening.
The cool winter breeze did not effect the 750 guests who attended the black-tie gala dinner on January 17th which took place at Kind Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center (KHBTCC).
Grand Hyatt Amman's Executive Chef, Mr Rabah Abusbaitan, was especially pleased with the team and was esthetic when his team was announced the winner, "Once again, my team has made me proud. 2007 was a great year for the team as they won the Black Box Competition and will be representing Jordan in the international awards this coming May. Now, 2008 has started with a blast, as once again the F&B team has won the Grumpy Gourmet Award."
It was a very proud moment for the General Manager of Grand Hyatt Amman, Mr Benno Gerusckat when the award was announced as he stood side by side with the owners of hotels and restaurants from Jordan and Lebanon.
These are the words that Mr Geruskchkat added to the evening, "I would like to congratulate Grand Hyatt Amman's exceptional team. I am very proud of their hard work and achievements. I would also like to extend my congratulations to everyone who participated in the event and to all the winners of an award."
L'Incontro, Grand Hyatt Amman's signature restaurant, is 'the meeting place' of Italian specialties, elegant ambience and Amman's trendy society, creating the most impressive Italian restaurant on this side of the River Jordan. Inside, guests will surely be entertained by the live cooking show taking place in the theatre kitchen, where herb-accented chicken and juicy meats are being churned out of the wood-burning oven. Guests can sit around the bar and enjoy this true culinary spectacle while sipping a fresh espresso or smooth grappa.
