30 December 2008

1- What is GIGABYTE Global strategy in general and Middle East Egypt specific during next year 2009?

By Tim: GIGABYTE's strategy in 2009 will be the same as our strategy in 2007 and 2008: To continue to improve the quality of our motherboards, the quality of our support/service and the quality of our marketing in order to remain the No. 1 motherboard brand in the world.

Some of the planned quality improvements include extending GIGABYTE Dual BIOS to the full range of GIGABYTE motherboards (not only the high-end products). We also plan to extend GIGABYTE energy saving technologies (Dynamic Energy Saver and DES Advanced) to the full range of GIGABYTE motherboards including the AMD offerings.

2- Regards the world money crises, Will the bad economy affect the quality GIGABYTE MBs?

By Tim: No, the bad economy will not affect the quality of GIGABYTE motherboards! In fact GIGABYTE will improve the quality of our motherboards in order to make them more attractive during the economic crisis. The quality improvements include extending Ultra Durable 3 technology (2oz copper PCB) to a wider range of motherboard models than ever before with the introduction of Ultra Durable 3 and Ultra Durable 3 Classic. This means that GIGABYTE will compete with better quality and specifications during the economic crisis.

Will "bad economy "affects the number of GIGABYTE MBs manufacturing?

By Tim: We have noticed a decline in motherboard orders in certain regions that have been badly affected by the economic crisis. However, our market research tells us that this decline in orders is not a problem that is unique to GIGABYTE only; all hardware vendors have been affected by this issue. On a positive note, GIGABYTE has a relatively short production cycle that is less than 2 weeks from the time that we receive an order through to the shipping of that order. This means that we will be able to control our stock volumes in the channel pretty well.

3- Does GIGABYTE plan to let any employees go during 2009?

By Tim: No, GIGABYTE does not plan to let any employees go during 2009.

By Paul: GIGABYTE consider employees are one of our most important assets, so we don't have plan to laid off staffs like some of other international companies doing now.

4- What is your pricing strategy regards this issue (bad economy) global, Middle East, Egypt?

By Tim: We expect that very little change to our current pricing strategy despite the increased performance and quality of GIGABYTE motherboards.

5- As Intel and AMD announce their product plan during 2009, what is your plan else during new technology and new product?

By Tim: We have already discussed how GIGABYTE will introduce Ultra Durable 3 technology to a wider range of motherboards in 2009. In addition, we are developing more advanced Dynamic Energy Saver technology that will help to differentiate us even more from our competitors. Another important strategy in 2009 is to be first to market with new technologies in the Middle East and North Africa.

UD3 new evolution Technology from GB, but its price will be high, so what will you do?

By Tim: Actually, the price for Ultra Durable 3 technology is not high if you consider that no other hardware vendor uses such good quality components on their motherboards.

For UD3 m/b we keep price very reasonable and acceptable for users. We have many different price segment m/b with UD3 feature.

Also if consumers concern about their money, then buy a GBIBABYTE m/b with following features

1. Solid Capacitor

2. 2Oz PCB

3. Dual BIOS

4. Energy saving

Definitely GIGABYTE m/b will give more stable performance and longer lifetime to users. GIGABYTE m/b is much more stable and has longer lifetime than other brands, so actually users will save more money and time, and enjoy the quality for every cent they pay."
