During its participation in Cards & Payments Middle East 2012
UAE, 15 May, 2012 - FutureCard, the UAE based plastic card manufacturer, announced today during its participation in Cards & Payments Middle East 2012, its production capabilities expansion to produce 500 Million cards in 2012, due to the global growing demand for plastic cards. The company is set to showcase its "Personalization solution" which enables the manufactured cards to be accepted by existing card personalization systems around the globe, and ensures streamlined operations to reduce cost and time, while offering greater value and profitability to customers.

In 2011, the company produced 350 Million cards to 1000 customers in 80 countries around the globe, while in 2012 its set to produce more than 500 Million cards, to meet the growing regional and international market demand within telecommunications, banking, government, and commercial industries. Moreover, and earlier this year, the company issued the first-of-its-kind interactive payment card, which includes the One-Time-Password security technology with two-factor authentication. The technology enables cardholders to use a different password each time to use card, through a simple button placed on the card.
