Amman, Jordan - 24 August 2008: The Four Seasons Hotel Amman is proud to announce two new members to its management team: Olivier Thomas as Hotel Manager and Halla Rafati as Director of Public Relations.
Born in France with a MBA from Switzerland, Olivier Thomas joins the Four Seasons as Hotel Manager. His 16 years experience in the hospitality industry has included landmark hotels such as The Hotel Palace in Milan, The Savoy in London, The Westin Excelsior in Rome and most recently The St Regis in New York.
Olivier started his career from a front desk trainee in a small hotel and climbed his way up the Food & Beverage ladder and landed up in Executive management. Olivier joins the Four Seasons with invaluable experience which will only serve to enhance the already undisputed quality of service at the Four Seasons.
"I could not ask for a more qualified candidate as Hotel Manager," says Gerhard Stutz, General Manager of the hotel. "Olivier has an insatiable desire to achieve world-class luxury and an unrelenting palate for fine dining. The mix is almost impossible to find but we have found it," adds Stutz.
Olivier is excited to be adding Jordan to the long list of countries and cultures he has experienced so far.
Meanwhile, Halla Rafati joins Four Seasons as Director of Public Relations. Halla comes from a career in marketing and public relations, most recently having been the Marketing Manager for a consumer electronics retail chain and prior to that at Jordan Tourism Board. Born and raised in Texas and having graduated from Trinity University with a triple major in International Business, Marketing and Management, Halla's experience in the tourism and retail industries gives her the perfect combination of skills to start a long career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
"Halla is one of those persons whom you rarely come across. Her insight and talent in addition to her people personality and her strong ambition to excel in a luxury brand are the qualities needed for this position," says Huda Malhas, Director of Marketing for the hotel. "We couldn't be happier to have her on board."
