Lucky winner of 'Ford Fusion Stars' contest to drive away in a brand new Ford Focus
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 6, 2006 - The long wait is nearly over for the five Ford Fusion finalists. The 'Ford Fusion Stars' singing contest, which was announced in conjunction with the recent Fusion fashion, music and style exhibition in Dubai, will reach a conclusion on December 9 at Jimmy Dix, Movenpick Dubai Hotel. The event is being organised by IIR Middle East and starts from 4:00pm.
The contest was initiated in partnership with Ford Middle East to celebrate the UAE's singing talent. Preliminary rounds were held at Burjuman Shopping Mall in September.
The winner of the competition will receive a brand new 2007 Ford Focus. The Ford Focus has been a huge hit with young drivers since its international debut in 1988, and sales worldwide have passed the four million milestone. The car has won more than 60 global industry awards and accolades.
Said Hussein Murad, Sales & Marketing director of Ford Middle East: "The Ford brand speaks directly to the region's youth with progressive products like the Focus, Fiesta, Mustang and Mondeo. The Focus is the perfect grand prize because it is stylish, capable and affordable - and these are product attributes young people value the most!"
