Kuwait - Dubai-based flydubai was named “Best Low-Cost Airline serving the Middle East” at the 2017 Business Traveller Middle East Awards held in Dubai on 23 April. Voted by readers of the magazine, the distinction reflects flydubai’s comprehensive regional network, evolving business model and its role in creating trade and tourism flows in previously underserved markets. flydubai currently has a network of 93 destinations in 44 countries, and carried 10.4 million passengers in 2016.
