Abu Dhabi: Royal Jet, UAE's luxury aircraft charter service and First Gulf Bank (FGB), have signed an agreement today for financing Royal Jet's newest Bombardier aircraft, due to arrive in Abu Dhabi in May 2005.

Royal Jet is one of the fastest growing business jet charter operators in the Middle East. After less than two years in operation, Royal Jet currently operates a fleet of four aircraft, which includes 2 Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) and 2 Gulfstreams (G300).

"The Business Jet Charter, Block-Charter, and Aircraft Management market in the UAE, and the whole region, is experiencing a significant growth as more companies and VIPs see the benefits of winning time in their busy schedules", explains Khalifa Mohamed Al Kindi, Board Member of Royal Jet.

"First Gulf Bank, in this first blueprint contract with Royal Jet, is financing USD 15 million of the purchase price for the aircraft. As part of our aircraft management service, Royal Jet is consulting its customers on purchasing and financing such business aircraft. Both Royal Jet and FGB look forward to many more contracts to follow," commented Mr. Ramzi Zaroubi, CFO of Royal Jet.

The Challenger 300 from Bombardier (Montreal, Canada) is a very successful new super midsize business jet aircraft with capacity for up to 8 Passengers and a flying range of 2,800 miles. With a full service galley, flight attendant, complete lavatory and a spacious baggage compartment, the Challenger 300 is an ideal business aircraft for Royal Jet and its customers for the Middle East, the Sub-Continent, most of Southern Europe and Russia.

"The economics of the Challenger 300, combined with its large cabin and a range that covers the Middle East and the Subcontinent, made this a relatively straightforward selection," commented Capt. Tilmann Gabriel, President / CEO of Royal Jet. "This is the right aircraft for Royal Jet that will complement the superior quality to our fleet for the Middle East charter operations."

In addition to Royal Jet's own Challenger 300, there is a growing demand and interest from Royal Jet for buying these types of luxury aircrafts and operating them by the professional teams of Royal Jet.
