2 BMW cars, Dhs. 100,000 cash offered to every winner
Dubai, July 28, 2004: With the 6th DSS Grand Summer Raffle draw taking place at 9 pm on Friday, July 30, at the Hamarain Centre, the race for tickets is heating up.
Raffle tickets, available at 33 Emarat stations across the emirate, have been selling fast and are nearly sold out, according to draw organisers. The Dh. 200 tickets are now being sold in additional locations - Deira City Centre, BurJuman Centre, Baniyas Square, Al Fahidi Street and the Gold Souk. Thus far, the winners have been from four different nationalities, showing that this is an equal-opportunity draw and that luck and fortune knows no boundaries.
It is no wonder that residents and visitors are clamouring for the tickets: In every draw one winner walks away with a BMW X3, a BMW 520i and Dh100,000 in cash, bringing the total value of the prize money to Dh450,000.
The raffle is being organised by the DSS Office, in association with Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC), the exclusive importer of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates, and Emarat.
Abdullah Amiri, Coordinator of the DSS Grand Summer Raffle, said response to the draw continues to grow every week. "With every week that passes, people realise that their opportunities to enter and win are growing smaller, so we are seeing a big rush these days," he said.
'The Grand Summer Raffle' coupons are also available at 33 Emarat stations in Dubai, including Al Khubaisi, Hor Al Anz, Kuwait, Al Awir, Nad Al Hamar, Beach, Jebel Ali, Naharwan, Dana, Al Wejdan, Al Muhaisna, Taqniya, Muteena, Al Bustan, Al Madares, Galadari, Atrium/C-Store, Abu Khadra, Bridge, Karama, Al Wasl, Bin Hendi, Dubai Internet City, Al Rajhan, Al Raed, Garhoud, Safa Park, Lamtara, Chicago Beach, Al Dhiyafa, Al Adhed, Al Hassa, Umm Suqueim, and Jatabiyah (Ras Al Khor).
