During a presentation to the gathering, Mohamed al Suwaidi, Director, Procurement Directorate, said, "We would like to thank our partners and look forward to work closely with them in the future.  No matter how small is the size of the vendor company, it is the end result and success that matters.   We are a collective entity and don't believe in the traditional segmented philosophy of 'partner' and 'client'.  We strive to engage vendors in the overall development of the Foundation and the nation and we are committed to support local businesses and service providers."

The Technical Affairs Director of Capital Projects Directorate, Jassim Telefat, who described Education City as the 'cornerstone of Qatar's development into a knowledge-based economy', added, "We are a strategic directorate overseeing important activities in the nation's future and aim to enhance the quality of service at every level.  We sincerely hope that our projects go out to benefit not just Qatar, but the entire world. Construction of 40 percent of the master-plan of Education City is almost complete, showing how we are efficiently delivering value-added services to Qatar Foundation."
