Dubai, UAE, May 02, 2013: Falconcity of Wonders (FCW), the self-contained and multi-faceted residential, tourist and recreational destination being developed across Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, signed an agreement with Shadid Engineering Consultants (SEC), one of the pioneering consulting engineering firms in Dubai, to design and supervise the Community Health Club within the mega project.

The agreement was signed during the Dubai International Property Show 2013.

Salem Al Moosa, CEO of Falconcity, said: "We are pleased to appoint Shadid Engineering Consultants to assist Falconcity of Wonders in designing and supervising the Community Health Club. The Community Health Club, with a built up area of approximately 10,000 square meters (108,000 square feet), will be a hub for sports activities, beauty treatments, entertainment and recreation. Located within the Western Residences, it is conveniently located and is easily accessible through the development's main entrance and the rest of the community.

With its thematic architecture, the Community Health Club is designed to encourage residents to actively engage in sports. It will be a remarkable club near the residential villas and will feature a large indoor gymnasium, two squash courts, tennis and basketball facilities, a running track, an outdoor swimming pool and a kids' playground. It will also house a dedicated library, a restaurant, a coffee shop, a mini market, a ladies' salon and spa and a men's barbershop.

Falconcity of Wonders is a multi-purpose development in Dubai featuring the key historical and modern icons of architecture from around the world such as The Pyramids, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Eiffel Tower, The Taj Mahal, The Great Wall of China, and The Leaning Tower of Pisa. The project occupies more than 3.8 million square meters (41 million square feet) of land and will feature famous international destinations such as Rome, Venice, Beirut, India, and New York.
