Manama: The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), region's premiere training and development provider, held its annual Training Forum, featuring the participation of representatives of various stakeholders within the financial and insurance sectors, to address training requirements and discuss potential development opportunities for the human capital in the Kingdom.

The forum provided an overview of the Institute's programs and strategic directions was presented by presenting its most prominent programs and initiatives in partnership with internationally prestigious educational and training bodies.

The training forum provided an overview of the BIBF’s training offerings and strategic directions for the upcoming year, by introducing the latest programmes and initiatives in partnership with renowned international institutions and awarding bodies.

The forum also included a workshop entitled ‘Negotiating so Everybody Wins’, presented by the Senior Professional Lecturer - Management Department at DePaul University Mr. Robert Perkovich.

Furthermore, a panel discussion was held with the BIBF’s Learning Centres’ Heads, to address the needs and concerns of the training representatives and discussed areas of improvement. Feedback from representatives of the respective sectors was also noted to ensure continuous improvement.

On this occasion, Director of the BIBF Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, stated, "The BIBF plays a pivotal role in the development of human capital through the provision of programmes that help enhance employee performance and build a more engaged workforce, and is fully committed to enhancing development opportunities and qualifying national cadres in various business sectors, in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Dr. Al Shaikh also stressed the importance of investing in upskilling and reskilling Bahraini citizens, as a central pillar of the Kingdom's comprehensive development, line with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
