Beirut - Eurocross Assistance MENA, part of the global Eurocross Assistance group which deals in assistance services to travelers in case of accidents, breakdowns, and medical and non-medical emergencies worldwide, celebrated its multi-year relations with its business partners in Lebanon, namely travel agents, mutual groupings (“Mutuelles”), and insurance companies.
In a venue relevant to the travel industry in a grand way, which is MEA’s new state-of-the-art Training and Conference Center, Eurocross Assistance MENA’s Chairman Lukas Zelnichek, its CEO Habib Aoude, and members of its board, in addition to Eurocross Assistance’s Managing Director Ryan Florian, shared in awarding its top 15 Lebanese business partners trophies marking their long years of fruitful cooperation.
Habib Aoude, CEO Eurocross Assistance MENA, welcomed the assembled guests in his name and on behalf of Robert Ishac, the co-founder of MidEast Group.
Aoude further said, “Back in 2002, we started as MidEast Assistance International SAL, a small Lebanese company venturing in travel assistance. In 2008, we restructured the company and created an advisory board headed by Fadi Chehade, and we invited the international company Eurocross Assistance to be part of the board. Since then, our ties with Eurocross Assistance grew organically, to be crowned by the creation of our joint venture, Eurocross Assistance MENA in late 2016. As we stand now, the past ten years of quiet, hard work enabled us to be connected to the two largest healthcare groups of Europe: Eurocross Assistance and its parent company Achmea, in addition to what is known today as VYV Group. With these two solid groups, we work closely on offering assistance products and services customized to the MENA markets.”
Aoude continued, “If our experience were to be called a Success Story, we wouldn’t be its only authors. We owe this success to the board members of our group, past and present, and to the staff of MidEast Assistance, the CALL CENTER namely, whose high standard of response and process earned us ISO certification. We owe it also to the team at Euromed, the distributors of Eurocross products and services in Lebanon, and notably to our Lebanese clients and business partners whose inspiration led us to move to the whole surrounding region and even further. And to cap it all, we owe it to teamwork, hard work and dreams, and to the high ethics and values we all share.”
Aoude closed by saying, “Our gathering here tonight is about one core thing, which is the privilege of honoring our long-time business partners. That’s why we’ve themed our event with a loud hail to them: ‘You Rock!’”
In the reception time prior, the guests were invited in groups on a special tour of MEA’s new training units for pilots and hostesses. And after the awards ceremony, the guests were treated to a networking cocktail.
