Riyadh, June 16, 2010: The Board of Directors of Etihad Atheeb Telecom Co. "GO" is pleased to announce the appointment of Eng. Raed Abdulrouf Kayal as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective Sunday, June 13, 2010, replacing Dr. Ahmed Sindi.  Eng. Raed Kayal will be responsible for developing a new strategy for "GO" that would answer the demands of its future operation.

His Royal Highness, Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Etihad Atheeb Telecom Co. "GO" stated: "The appointment of GO's Board member, Eng. Raed Kayal, to undertake the tasks and responsibilities of Acting Chief Executive Office reflects the Board of Directors' intention to better support the requirements of each operational stage, as this decision will serve the long term strategic objectives of the company and will carry a positive impact on both the shareholders and customers".

His Royal Highness added: "The Board of Directors has accepted Dr. Ahmed Sindi's resignation; all members of the Board express their appreciation for his efforts during the launch phase and we wish him success in both his personal and professional life"

It is to be noted that Eng. Raed Abdulrouf Kayal possesses over 15 years of experience in business development and management in the Telecommunication and Information Technology as he worked with various major multinational companies (such as Siemens, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, GlobTel) in Germany, the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia where he assumed a number of senior Technological/ Engineering and Managerial positions in addition to founding and co-establishing a number of companies in Saudi Arabia.  Eng. Raed Kayal is considered as one of the valuable Saudi management professionals; he graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and is a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
