Epson's EB-1925W, EB-1920W, EB-1915, EB-1910 and EB-1830 video projectors offer a range of features designed to save time and enhance presentations

Epson, worldwide leader in the video projector market[1], has today (October 18, 2009) announced during its participation at GITEX Technology Week, the Middle East launch of its EB-1900 series, a revolutionary range of 4000 lumen high end video projectors. With exceptional connectivity and easy installation, the EB-1925W, EB-1920W, EB-1915, EB-1910 and EB-1830 video projectors are quick and easy to use and rich in image enhancing features for stress-free, professional presentations in and out of the office, and specifically targets the region's corporate and higher education sectors.

The EB-1900 range offers a powerful White Light Output[2] and Colour Light Output[3] (CLO) of 4000 lumens (3500 lumens for the EB-1830) which, together with a x1.6 zoom, is ideal for ceiling mount installation in medium-to-large sized meeting rooms and lecture halls. The EB-1900 series also has a high contrast ratio of 2000:1 for high quality projections while Epson's superior 3LCD technology ensures images are clear and bright, even in daylight, and that colours are reproduced naturally.

The EB-1900 series is light in weight, highly compact in design and has a range of innovative features that makes for quick and easy set up. With a fast start up time and Direct Power On/Off functions, presentations can begin almost instantly.

The EB-1920W, EB1910 and EB-1830 models have a two-in-one USB display function, which includes a remote control that can be used to scroll easily through slides so there is no need to run through the presentation using a keyboard or mouse.

The EB-1925W and EB-1915 video projectors are equipped with the latest EasyMP features such as wireless and PC-free connectivity. These models include Epson's exclusive three-in-one USB display function, which not only allows images to be produced; it has the additional benefit of enabling users to transmit sound to a 10W built-in speaker, all using just one USB cable. EasyMP Slide Converter software converts slides automatically from PowerPoint for outstanding PC-free multi-media presentations which, together with videos, can be showcased directly from a USB flash drive for smart, stylish presentations on the move. In addition, multi-screen display functionality enables a PC to connect to up to four video projectors using a local area network (LAN) or through wireless technology. The EB-1925W and EB-1915 also have HDMI input for perfect compatibility with the latest HD videoconference equipment, allowing sound and images to be reproduced in exceptional quality.

The EB-1925W and EB-1915 video projectors offer a range of automatic functions designed to make mobile presentations quick and easy, saving valuable time. The image immediately focuses onto the screen and automatic horizontal and vertical keystone correction adjusts the shape to give an accurate projection. The exclusive Screen Fit function also ensures the projections fit perfectly into the screen frame.

For all video projectors in the EB-1900 range, the Epson DC06 USB Visualiser can be easily and directly connected via a USB cable, making it perfect for education environments as documents can be viewed without the need for a computer.

Further improving on previous models, Epson has moved the exhaust to the front of the chassis so warm air does not blow out of the sides, eliminating audience distraction. In addition, the video projectors support up to 35 languages.

Khalil El Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, "Epson has utilised its innovative and advanced technology to create a range of high quality video projectors which we believe will be the ideal choice for businesses and higher education institutions in the Middle East. These projectors, despite being quite small and light, offer excellent image quality, and the wireless connectivity adds to the ease of set up and use."
