Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has signed up as the sole UAE energy company to take part in the LG Super Racing Weekend at the Dubai Autodrome.
ENOC has set up a facility at the Autodrome to provide fuel and lubricants to team and service vehicles for the event being staged this weekend.
The 'ENOC Corner', a challenging series of sharp turns leading to the back straight is branded with the logo of ENOC's world-class Protec X-treme Motor Oil. Braking points have been adorned with the ENOC corporate logo. ENOC is promoting the event with posters and leaflets at its network of ENOC/EPPCO service stations and convenience stores across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The Group also has a hospitality area in the Autodrome Corporate Club, complete with a private balcony overlooking the pit lane.
Guests will have access to the Corporate Club Area and a reserved car park, and will receive breakfast, lunch and a complimentary official programme.
ENOC Group Chief Executive and Board Member, Hussain Sultan, said: "The LG Super Racing Weekend brings some of the biggest names in motor racing to the UAE. By backing this event we are making an important contribution to yet another international event that has come to Dubai.
"As the Energy Partner of Choice we are enthusiastic supporters of motor sports across the region and have already been represented at the Rally of Lebanon and the UAE Federation rally this year.
"Participation in this world class event will see our ENOC branding promoted both regionally and internationally."
The Super Racing Weekend features three race categories. The FIA-GT Championship provides the opportunity to watch luxury sports car marques such as Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Lamborghini and Chrysler vie for the fastest circuit times.
The FIA European Touring Car Championship will give Ford, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Seat, Honda or Peugeot the chance to reign supreme, followed by the Formula Renault V6 sprint races where spectators can catch a possible glimpse of future Formula 1 drivers.
